My name is Donald Verani and I am very interested in this wonderful job opportunity. I
completed a Bachelor of Science in Finance with a Concentration in Investment Management
from United States International University in 2021.
I worked as a finance intern for City Mortgage & Finance Corporation in Dar es Salaam. My
duties were to maintain files, prepare closing reports on a daily basis, and assist with audits,
balance sheet reconciliation, as well as petty cash management. I also have past experience
working as a business development officer for NinaGina Consulting in Nairobi. My duties were
to identify business opportunities, developing and nurturing relationships with key customer
accounts and assessing client needs among others.
I am a fast learner and highly adaptable, able to quickly pick up new processes and procedures.
I’m confident that my technical literacy, diligent accounting skills and passion for teamwork
make me an excellent fit. I possess a good working knowledge of data collection and have
experience in working in finance. I have good working experience in data analysis and data
management. I am also proficient in using accounting software, including QuickBooks, Sage,
and Microsoft Excel.
