I successfully pursued a comprehensive four-year both certificate and diploma program in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Nairobi Technical Training Institute. The course provided in-depth theoretical and practical training in key areas such as electrical installation, digital and analog electronics, power systems, control systems, and instrumentation.
Throughout the program, I gained hands-on experience through workshops, industrial attachments, and project-based learning, which helped me develop practical problem-solving skills, technical proficiency, and a strong understanding of electrical systems. My time at the institute also strengthened my ability to work both independently and collaboratively in team settings, while adhering to safety standards and engineering best practices.
Work & Experience
At Jupiter Energy Solutions, I held a dual role that combined administrative support with technical fieldwork, giving me a well-rounded experience in both office operations and hands-on engineering tasks.
As an Office Messenger, I was responsible for handling daily office errands, delivering important documents, assisting with clerical duties, and ensuring smooth communication between departments and clients. This role strengthened my time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
As a Technical Engineer, I supported the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and solar energy solutions. I assisted senior engineers with wiring, system configuration, site inspections, and customer support. This hands-on role enhanced my technical knowledge, problem-solving ability, and understanding of safety procedures in the field of energy solutions.
