I have a cumulative extensive 12 years’ experience both in Network and Security Enterprise engineering, Technical customer support and Core Network Engineering in the ISP world. As an Enterprise Network & Security Engineer at the Dimension Data EA engaging with different products from these phases; designing, implementation and troubleshooting phases.
My solid background in customer support has allowed me to grow my people skills hence the ability to directly and indirectly manage intermediate engineers with exceptional performance. At both Internet Solutions, Access Kenya and the WIOCC Service Kenya I worked with Service Provider Technologies like MPLS, L2VPNs, L3VPNs, Core BGP routing. I’m conversant with the Internet routing architecture from the Enterprise, Service Provider, Tier 2 and Tier 1 and Internet Upstream Providers.
As per my professional summary, my qualities and experience make me suitable for a network engineering role. I am highly regarded for problem solving, collaborative and teamwork, communication skills, troubleshooting and configuration skills, leadership, mentoring and training skills and presentation skills. I am proficient in Network and Security technologies. Currently pursuing a B.Sc. in CyberSecurity and Digital Forencis, I’m a Diploma holder in Telecommunication & Information Engineering.
The industry certifications that I have acquired over a period of time some are active while others have expired are Cisco Routing & switching, Cisco Security, Juniper Enterprise, Data Center, Service Provider, Checkpoint Security, Fortinet Security products and Zscaler etc. I have interacted, implemented, configured and mainained several Fortinet products from Fortinet Firewalls, SD-WAN boxes, Forti Manager, FortiNAC, FortiWEB etc. I believe I can competently execute the job responsibilities assigned efficiently and would be an asset to your team.

Senior carrier-level role providing 24/7 escalated support and optimization for multi-vendor IP and optical infrastructure serving 200+ wholesale clients across Africa and Europe. Achieved and sustained 99.9% service availability across 10+ Network POPs by proactively troubleshooting and resolving outages, latency, and degradations within strict 1–2 hour SLAs.
Design, implementation, integration, and troubleshooting of enterprise security and network infrastructure projects.
