We are seeking an experienced Parts Demand Planning / Procurement Executive to lead demand forecasting, inventory planning, procurement, and supply coordination for a high-volume spare-parts operation.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in automotive, commercial vehicles, heavy equipment, or industrial spare parts, with proven exposure to imported inventory, large SKU portfolios, and data-driven demand planning.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage monthly and rolling spare-parts demand forecasts.
  • Analyse historical sales, inventory trends, seasonality, and market requirements to improve forecast accuracy.
  • Develop and optimise inventory levels, safety stock, and buffer stock to ensure parts availability while controlling inventory costs.
  • Prepare and execute periodic parts procurement orders based on approved demand forecasts and inventory requirements.
  • Monitor purchase orders and the complete supply pipeline to ensure timely availability of parts.
  • Coordinate imports and international supply-chain activities, including shipment tracking and delivery timelines.
  • Identify potential stock-outs, excess inventory, and supply risks and recommend corrective actions.
  • Work closely with Parts Sales, Service, Warehouse, Finance, Procurement, Logistics, and suppliers to ensure seamless parts availability.
  • Prepare regular reports and dashboards on demand, inventory, procurement, and supply-chain performance.
  • Use data and analytics to support decision-making and continuously improve the parts planning process.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Commerce, or a related discipline.
  • 10–15 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in parts demand planning, inventory planning, procurement, or supply-chain management.
  • Proven experience within the automotive, commercial vehicle, heavy equipment, industrial equipment, or spare-parts distribution sector.
  • Demonstrated experience managing large SKU portfolios and imported inventory.
  • Strong understanding of demand forecasting, inventory optimisation, procurement, and international supply chains.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential.
  • Strong Power BI and data analytics capability.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, planning, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, data-driven environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
