Education
In my final project in university, I created a project I called SIMS, a School Information Management System idea that was driven by a need I had observed in my former high school. This project gave me an edge when I made my applications for internship programs. I was accepted immediately after a few applications by PPRA - Public Procurement Regulatory Authority of Kenya. This was a fundamental opportunity for my career foundation. It was in PPRA where I was introduced to the real practice of all that I had learned in college about computers, computer networks and software. But more than that, I learned skills such as customer relations skills, being creative in moments of pressure, problem evaluation and simplification skills as well as sharing and finding solutions in a common table with my team. These skills, I have treasured to this day for my everyday personal and professional engagements.
