I am an accomplished Agribusiness professional with over 27 years of hands-on experience with government of Kenya, East African Breweries Limited and private practice doing actual farming and running a distribution network for PEPSI. I spent 15 years as a Regional agribusiness Manager at EABL where I developed sorghum value chain from grassroots to production of over 40000Mts of sorghum. I developed seed system network to avail seeds to farmers easily. I managed stakeholders well- both government, NGOs and private organizations thereby uplifting perception of EABL to the community and government at large.
While at government of Kenya, Ministry of Agriculture, I improved business acumen of agricultural dealers through capacity building in trainings, educational tours and field days while working as a Business Development Officer in various counties. I also took charge of all agricultural activities in divisions Narok and Nakuru districts while working as divisional agriculture and Extension officer. I took charge of training farmers, scouting for migratory pests and deploying techniques to control them and also monitored food security status in the divisions,.
I am available for short term assignments such as consulting and contracts.

I graduated with a BSc in Agriculture from University of Nairobi in 1996 where I specialized in crop protection in my final year.
Work & Experience
I direct overall operations of the company which involves distribution of PEPSI products in Laikipia and Samburu counties, agriculture consultancy in Kenya, farm operations at Maryara farm and marketing of agriculture produce from Maryara farm.
Management of sorghum and barley production in eastern and central regions of Kenya. I was in charge of producing 50% of Kenya breweries raw materials - sorghum and barley since 2009 to 2024. The work involved farmer sensitization, seed sourcing and distribution, digital registration and market access linkage.
I was the business development officer under the program of National Accelerated Agricultural Inputs Access Program (NAAIAP) in the Agribusiness Directorate of the ministry of Agriculture of the Government of Kenya. I was in charge of recruiting credible farm inputs suppliers, training of agro-inputs and agriculture extension officers across the country.
- Training government officers on agricultural business and trade skills. - Monitoring and reporting on commodity trading trends. - Development of farmer field schools and facilitating their trainings
- Overall coordination of agriculture activities at divisional level - I worked on this role in Trans-mara district (now part of Narok county); Rongai Division in Nakuru and partly in East Mau of Narok county. - In Trans-mara and Narok, I was the NALEP (National Agriculture and Livestock Extension Program) coordinator.
