About Candidate
As a Quality Assurance/Control Officer, I see myself as the guardian of excellence within any production or research environment. My role goes far beyond simply checking boxes ensure that every product, process, and material meets the highest standards of quality and safety. With a background in chemistry, I bring a scientific lens to every inspection, lab test, and data analysis I conduct. I thrive on precision and take pride in identifying even the smallest inconsistencies before they become larger issues. I work closely with cross-functional teams to implement effective quality systems, streamline workflows, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards like ISO or GMP. I believe in building a culture of quality, where every stakeholder understands the value of doing things right the first time. Whether I’m writing protocols, leading internal audits, or training staff, my goal is always the same: to ensure that our outputs not only meet expectations but exceed them. Quality isn’t just part of my job it’s the standard I live by.

Education
I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Nairobi, where I graduated with a Second Class Upper Division. During my studies, I built a strong foundation in both theoretical and practical chemistry, gaining hands-on experience in key laboratory techniques such as titration, chromatography, spectrometry, and chemical analysis. My coursework covered a wide range of topics including analytical, organic, inorganic, and physical chemistry, with a particular focus on instrumental methods of analysis. This academic training sharpened my ability to interpret data accurately, uphold laboratory standards, and apply scientific principles to address challenges in quality control, research, and industrial chemistry.
Here’s a first-person description for your **Certificate in Computer Applications**: I obtained a Certificate in Computer Applications from Skycom Technology, where I developed practical skills in essential software tools used in academic and professional settings. I became proficient in Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and gained a solid understanding of file management, internet navigation, and basic troubleshooting. This training enhanced my ability to document laboratory findings, analyze data efficiently, and present technical information clearly and professionally.
Work & Experience
During my attachment at the Government Chemist in Mombasa, I conducted a range of physico-chemical tests on water samples, including pH, BOD, COD, TDS, and turbidity measurements. I also participated in proximate and contaminant analysis of various food samples to determine their nutritional composition and safety. In the forensic section, I used Gas Chromatography (GC) and Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS) to identify narcotic substances, gaining valuable experience in instrumental analysis. Throughout the attachment, I maintained accurate documentation, followed strict laboratory procedures, and ensured compliance with quality and safety standards. This experience sharpened my technical skills and deepened my understanding of laboratory operations in a professional environment.
