• Grow Sales within the Area by developing innovative ways of increasing/growing airtime sales and terminal sales at the Point of Purchase; Value added services and connections through proper channel partner engagement and alignment with respective Direct Sales Agents • Training and managing a team of Trade Developers • Effective implementation of distribution strategies in the trade to achieve availability and grow sales within the assigned area by ensuring all Trade Developer Representatives, Market activators and Direct Sales Agents adhere to route to market practices and achieve set targets • Ensure achievement of set sales and usage targets i.e • Monthly, quarterly, semiannually or annually • Prepare, plan and execute Area Sales programs aimed at market penetration, availing of company products and services at all times through Mall, Market, Matatu, Bar and Campus/ College activations • Prepare weekly performance reports for management meeting as well as remedial actions for areas of concern • Ensure shops are well branded according to Telkom standards in order to create awareness and ensure that stores are well stocked and sell at recommended prices • Deliver from scratch Network Agency of T-Kash agents and ensure they are actively trading; this is through effective acquisition and management of mobile money agents, merchants and business accounts within the region • Sell and manage the distribution of Telkom products and services to resellers and distributors within the assigned region through proper management of available resources (Trade Developer Representatives and Direct Sales Agents) • Develop and manage a good relationship with agents, merchants, key customers and partners in the assigned region through regular engagements and visitations • Effectively implement distribution routines to achieve availability of Telkom Kenya products i.e • T-Kash, airtime, SIMs and devices within the retail channel • Drive innovation and seek opportunities to deliver value to the business • Ensure internal collaboration, team work development and implementation of key management and sales routines • Manage, develop, and motivate the area sales team in order to achieve maximum output • Responsible for the achievement of the set performance parameters for the entire zone.
