Placing orders with different suppliers for the finished items. Receiving and recording goods from different suppliers on arrival in the store. Verifying the quality and quantity of the goods delivered by the suppliers. Updating the inventory system on the goods purchased and what is remaining in the store. Carrying out periodic stock take. Giving information on the quantities of the goods that have expired.
Maintaining inventory records by adding or deleting items as they are issued or received. Verify, update, and reconcile inventory information. Performing physical inventory of warehouse and supply yard and reconciles records. Determining proper floor and shelf location for supplies. Make arrangements for incoming shipments. Assign duties to subordinates.
