My roles have been the following: i.Preparation and maintenance of cash book. ii.Preparation of ledger Accounts. iii.Collection of fees (Receivables). iv.Payment to clients/ suppliers (payables) v.Bankings and receiptings

Roles: 1.Assisting in preparation of budget and financial reports in the field office 2. Supporting line Managers/Officers in budget implementation and monitoring 3. Receiving requisitions from field staff and ensuring timely approval and disbursement of activity funds in the project 4. Analyzing all official trips made by staff 6. Preparing relevant invoices to various clients for payments and maintaining debtors’ accounts in the project office 9. Keeping and maintaining all accounting records and fixed assets register 8. Coordinating the process of sourcing, purchasing and supplying goods to the project. 9. Reconciling suppliers’ statements against ledger statements monthly and liaising with the respective suppliers in a bid to clear the reconciling items in the reconciliation 10. Preparing payment reports to suppliers/community groups , 11. Summarizing current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports. 12. Maintaining financial security by following internal controls. 13. Maintaining customer confidence and protecting operations by keeping financial information confidential. 14. Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, 15. Participating in the internal audits as scheduled and in external audits.orking as Finance officer in charge of NYM project which was a USAID funded project through PATH.

Simenya Child Development Centre-Compassion International Kenya assisted Project(1 Aug 2013 – To 2019)– The Project exists as an advocate for the sponsored children to release them from their Spiritual,Physical,Economic and Social poverty and enable them become responsible and fulfilled adults in the society.Working as a Project Accountant reporting to the Project Director Roles:  Compile daily financial records  Keep and update the project cheque and Automated cash book and then balancing the cash book.  Undertake financial planning and book keeping  Preparation of periodical financial reports i.e.quarterly,annualy  Involved in the preparation of monthly programmatic and financial activity reports.  Liaise with Social worker and project Management committee to ensure that children’s gifts are distributed in time  Maintain up-to- date inventory of project assets and consumables.  Set up and maintain proper financial systems of ordering, purchasing, tendering and payments.  Advice the Management Committeeon matters relating to finances, and is involved in planning and budgeting.  Work closely with health worker to ensure that all medical claims are reimbursed by Compassion International Kenya.  In charge of the Economic development of the children
