About Candidate

My name is Timothy Thiong’o Ndung’u. I’m a dedicated and hands-on professional with a background in food and beverage service. I studied at what was then known as Michuki Technical Training Institute, which has since been elevated to Michuki National Polytechnic. It’s where I laid the foundation for my skills and discipline in the hospitality field.

While at Michuki, I pursued a course that focused heavily on practical learning. I spent time in both the kitchen and the dining area, learning everything from food preparation and hygiene to service etiquette and customer engagement. What stood out most for me was the emphasis on doing things right, paying attention to detail, and treating every customer experience like it mattered.

After school, I worked as a waiter, where I got the chance to apply what I had learned. The job sharpened my people skills and taught me how to remain calm and organized, even when things got busy. I learned how to work with different teams, handle customers politely, and always be ready to go the extra mile to make someone’s day better.

I value professionalism, consistency, and humility. I enjoy learning from others and believe in growing through experience. Whether I’m serving food or solving a challenge behind the scenes, I do it with focus and heart.
