JOB PURPOSE

The 5G Sales supervisor is responsible to manage 5G Direct sales team within defined geographical demarcation. This includes but not limited to providing leadership to the sales team to drive customer as per prescribed targets.

Directly participates in the recruitment, management and mentorship of the Sales team and responsible for the provision of products to the teams

This role will be working as the bridge between sales agents and Area Sales Manager.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

1 Customer Acquisition ·         Drive achievement of set targets for the Direct sales team

·         Ensure compliance to Customer acquisition and onboarding processes i.e.  KYC and customer education on top up

·         Collaborates with Line Manager to develop, execute and monitor sales initiatives in assigned area

·         Recovery of devices from noncompliant customers.

2 Team Management ·         Participate in the recruitment process of team members

·         Performance management – Drive achievement of set targets

·         Ensure compliance to workways and customer onboarding processes

·         Collate and submit daily achievement reports

·         Ensuring excellent execution of agreed sales plans

3 Stock availability and distribution

 

·         ensure stock availability in the assigned market

·         Stock management and reconciliation for the team

·         Track adherence to SLAs on acquisition and onboarding

4 Customer support ·         Provide first level support with on ground trouble shooting and resolution of customer issues

·         Escalation of customer issues that cannot be resolved at first level

·         Escalation of network issues

5 Reporting ·         Daily collation of target achievement

·         Track and Analysis monthly trends within assigned markets

·         Prepare dashboards for weekly reviews

·         Preparation of ad-hoc reports as and when required

6 Market intelligence ·         Monitor and report competitor activities

·         Provide customer insights, identifies and suggests products, or services that will meet their needs

7 Market Activation and Support ·         Plan and execute on ground marketing initiatives i.e. road shows, estate storms, mall activations

 

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

Educational Qualifications & Functional / Technical Skills  

·         Graduate degree or Diploma of Business Administration or any equivalent qualification.

·         Understanding of telecom/ fixed wireless trends is an added advantage

Relevant Experience (Type of experience and minimum number of years) ·         2+ years of experience in leading a team in a highly complex environment

·         2 years of in-depth Sales experience in the telecom/FTTH/devices selling/ Satellite TV industries or other related fields.

 

Competencies
  • Commercial acumen- Understanding the competition landscape within the OPCO – players, devices offered, packages, commission schemes etc.
  • Tech savvy – Needs to understand solutions across both 5G and Fixed Wireless Services.
  • Resilience and ability to deliver against stretch targets
  • Strong entrepreneurial spirit
  • Able to lead a team – motivate and encourage to ensure sales targets are met, plan and execute team route plans and evaluate performance on daily basis
