Position Summary:
Our Client, a leading Distributor of Heavy Commercial Vehicles, is seeking a results-driven and technically proficient Sales Executive to lead sales initiatives for their heavy trailer parts and maintenance solutions division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and driving revenue growth across our product and service offerings tailored to commercial trailer fleets, logistics companies, and industrial transport operators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in the heavy trailer and commercial transport sectors.
- Develop and expand customer base through targeted prospecting, cold calling, site visits, and trade shows.
- Product Sales:
- Sell a full range of heavy trailer spare parts including axles, suspension systems, braking components, tires, and lighting systems.
- Promote value-added services including preventive maintenance contracts, repair solutions, and diagnostics.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Serve as the primary contact for key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Technical Advisory:
- Provide clients with product specifications, installation guidance, and troubleshooting support.
- Liaise with the technical team to ensure accurate and efficient aftersales service delivery.
- Sales Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of sales leads, customer interactions, and sales pipeline in CRM systems.
- Prepare periodic sales reports and forecasts for management review.
- Market Intelligence:
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market demands to refine sales strategy.
- Gather customer feedback to inform product development and service enhancement.
Key Requirements:
- Education:
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Automotive Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years in B2B sales, preferably in commercial vehicle parts, heavy trailers, or maintenance services.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Skills:
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Technical understanding of trailer components and repair systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Other:
- Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently under pressure.
REMUNERATION: Competitive Retainer(35k – 45k) plus commissions.
