Duties and Responsibilities Project Planning and Implementation: • Planning and implementing project activities and initiatives to achieve the desired outcomes. Constructed 12 Temporal Learning shelters (TLS), Provided Scholastic Materials, Conducted PTA trainings in all the 12 Schools, More the 5000 pupils were able to go back to school, and conducted several Campaigns for pupils to go back to school. • Livelihoods: Distributed seeds and Tools to 4140 individuals, Trained 1200 individuals on good farming skills, Facilitated restocking of poultry to 600 individuals, and did unconditional Cash transfer to 2700 individuals in Fangak County, Jonglei State. • Wash:-Facilitated rehabilitation of 8 Boreholes, Construction of 10 communal Latrines, and several Sanitation Campaigns were done.
• Conducted comprehensive needs assessments, designed innovative project proposals, collaborated with local stakeholders, developed detailed implementation plans, facilitated partnerships, provided technical support, and continuously monitored the context to adapt project strategies in South Sudan and Kenya.
• Led the strategic oversight and implementation of integrated service delivery including shelter, education, WASH, health, food security, and NFI distribution, while managing program operations, staff, partnerships, monitoring, and logistics. • Achievements: More than 200 households benefited from the Livelihoods interventions and became self-reliant. Over 10 Bore holes were drilled and 50 Latrines constructed in different locations in Juba where there was the high concentration of the population which also benefited the host community. This encouraged peaceful co-existence. Over 700 households received temporal shelters. Over 1200 primary pupils and 200 secondary students were supported with school uniforms and scholastic materials. 20 teachers were recruited to support different primary schools and Secondary schools where there was high concentration of the Nuba students. The secondary girls were all supported with sanitary kits. A population of over 3800 received primary health care services and over 200 patients with chronic diseases were referred outside the country to Uganda and Kenya.
• Identified and initiated livelihood activities for refugees to enhance their self-reliance, which included conducting needs assessments, designing interventions, supervising food and non-food distributions, representing the organization in forums with ROSS, UNHCR, WFP, ARC, and FAO, overseeing plot allocation and agricultural activities, and promoting collaborative livelihoods within the camp and with the host community. • Achievements: Several successful IGA groups came into existence which included Poultry, Fish Farming (6 ponds established in the settlement), Soap making, Vegetable farming and Pig rearing. In addition to the above, after lobbying with the host community and the government the refugees were given over 1000 hectares of land for farming. Over 2000 farmers got involved in farming which made Lasu settlement food secure. Within two years according to Nutrition survey conducted in 2011, it was found out that Lasu Settlement was ranked as
• Maintained high standards of cleanliness, water supply, waste management, drainage, pest control, and landscaping across the campus, supervised a team of approximately 40 workers responsible for daily maintenance, formulated landscaping programs for campus beautification, and ensured all equipment and machinery were in good working condition to support the daily operations and upkeep of the facilities and grounds.
