I hold a diploma in Mechatronics from The Technical University of Kenya, where I gained a strong foundation in electrical and mechanical systems. I am skilled in applying this technical knowledge to develop practical and innovative solutions. My key areas of expertise include troubleshooting and repair, actuator and sensor integration, mechatronic system maintenance, and basic fabrication. Additionally, I completed an industrial attachment and apprenticeship, where I was responsible for routine maintenance, fabrication, and machine installation. These experiences sharpened my ability to troubleshoot, optimize, and implement complex systems in real-world environments
Work & Experience
I collaborated with a team of technicians to oversee factory production processes, troubleshooting and repairing machinery, including replacing heaters, installing sensors, and fixing faulty motors. I performed routine maintenance tasks such as greasing, oiling, and replacing worn-out parts like belts, chains, and rollers to ensure efficient machine operation. Additionally, I addressed breakdowns to minimize downtime and maintain smooth production workflows.
During my industrial attachment, I conducted electrical system maintenance, diagnosing faults and replacing components as needed. I also contributed to the installation and setup of new machines to improve production efficiency. My hands-on experience extended to fabrication, including welding, measuring, and assembling mechanical parts, while developing proficiency in using various tools and equipment for industrial maintenance.
