I worked as an Intern with Kenya Revenue Authority, Marketing and Communications Department, based in the Western Region. My scope of engagement encompassed updating and maintaining stakeholders’ engagement reports, organizing departmental communication, and supporting tax education programs. In this regard, it also involved coordinating internal and external communications, stakeholder meetings, and assisting in event planning and execution. I managed taxpayer grievances, guided on tax compliance issues, and ensured smooth customer service operations while fostering collaboration between departments.
