About Candidate
Am a healthcare worker with over 6 years of experience with a bias in pediatrics and maternal nutrition in designing, planning and implementation.
Having begun my career as a nutrition technologist I have gathered a great deal of knowledge and hands on experience in community nutrition interventions with a focus on under five. Building on this experience in preventative component of healthcare, I have also gained hands on experience in research field/data management as a research assistant in public health programs(Antenatal Care)within the NGO sector.
In addition to get an holistic perspective of preventative health care I have undertaken a under graduate program in Public health with IT. My motivation is grounded in my passion for maternal and child health particularly in the low resource set up.

Work & Experience
Jilinde is a Programme that has been supporting the Ministry of Health to create awareness, demonstrate and
document an effective model used to scale up as an HIV prevention intervention in low resource setting
Implement a new method of preventing someone from acquiring HIV called PrEP. Key Population targeted
included AGYW, MSM and the FSW.
Managing real time data collection, analysis and feedback to study manager.
Providing project information and feedback to communicate progress and challenges in the project.
Engage and coordinate with key partners including County MOH department on data needs to ensure
effective collection and management of data.
Conducting of Data Quality Assessment from PrEP. supporting facilities.
Supporting preparation of monthly, quarterly and yearly programmatic reports.
Collection of reports on PrEP. from selected facilities.
The VMMC Validation Survey involved physical verification of circumcision status of males between the ages of
10-29 years. The validation process was to assess whether VMMC among the ages of 10-29 was a viable strategy
to curb the spread of HIV/AIDS if a larger population of the male youths were circumcised (80% saturation).
Consultant Research Assistant
Coordinating with different stake holders in the study area including Study Principal Investigator, County
and Sub-County Health Management Teams, CHEWs and the CHVs where applicable.
Identification of potential study participants for the study, travel to field sites to conduct interviews for the
identified study clients from the community/household.
Review and brought into force varied research quality and control procedures.
Daily communication with the Site Supervisors.
Assisted the Project officer to assess whether Group Care is a viable strategy to
improve the quality and acceptability of ANC and increase retention in care through pregnancy, childbirth, and
the postnatal period.
Research Assistant/Nutrition Technologist
Collect, compile, validate, interpret, and analyze data and trends.
Organize and facilitate contents for focus group discussions.
Nutrition intervention in maternal and child health cases by enrolling the OVC, severely, moderately and
mild malnutrition cases to therapeutic and supplementary feeding program
Management of Severe Acute Malnutrition in the pediatrics’ ward
Compiling of monthly (MOH) reports on nutrition commodities and services.
