Developed and launched a major application such as the upgrade to the organizations mobile banking application being part of the team as a backend engineer skilled in the main stack being used for its microservices(Java SpringBoot). This has since seen an increase in the digital services and products being oered by the organization. Also some significant improvement in the number of digitally driven clients in the organization Collaborated with project managers and other IT teams to develop business process improvement solutions ensuring cross platform integration for softwares used within the organization.This improved productivity and transactionability overally by utilizing background languages integration capabilities(Php Laravel, Java SpringBoot), automation tools and scripting languages. Through the Graduate Trainees Program, I was able to get exposure to the business units within the organization, linking the way of work from my technology background to the multiple wheels of the business
Configuration and troubleshooting of all electronic electoral equipment under my jurisdiction(Nyatike Constituency), providing technical support to all electoral personnel in Nyatike Constituency during the 2022 general elections period.
Writing and debugging of existing code for company services namely bulk SMS service (creation and maintaining of portal accounts for onboarded clients, API setup and monitoring, monitoring queues, troubleshooting and sharing reports monthly, daily and on request ), Shortcode service (setting up ;Mobile Originated, mobile terminated and Interactive codes ,managing and troubleshooting shortcodes) and USSD services(checking traffic, troubleshooting, mapping endpoints to USSDs). This was achieved through the use of Python, Javascript, HTML and CSS among other markup and scripting languages. I used softwares such as Visual Studio code for writing and debugging code, Postman for API service troubleshooting and testing, Mobaxterm for emulating the Linux environment. I also worked with different distributions of the Linux operating system such as Parrot OS, Kali Linux and Ubuntu depending on the use case scenario.
