Job Description

Location: Kampala

About the Role A leading multinational is seeking a Customer Strategy & Planning Manager to lead trade marketing activities, shopper activations, and category execution KPIs. You will manage promo plans, rolling forecasts, and Perfect Store Playbook processes, ensuring executional excellence and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and evaluate trade marketing activities and shopper activations
  • Manage promo plans in line with guidelines, monitoring flyer numbers and pricing
  • Track execution of activity plans and in-store communication (POS activities)
  • Analyse data for promotions and competitor insights to drive growth
  • Evaluate marketing investment effectiveness and propose efficiency improvements
  • Manage launches, re-launches, and repack/copack processes with supply chain
  • Continuously monitor category/channel performance and shopper insights
  • Collaborate with senior managers, marketing, sales, and supply chain teams

Qualifications & Experience

  • Relevant University degree
  • Trade marketing or marketing experience preferred
  • Strong IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Category growth management knowledge and customer/channel understanding
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Proactive teamwork and collaboration
