Job Description

The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:

• KCSE Certificate or equivalent, with a minimum grade of D (Plain).
• A valid Kenyan driving licence, free from endorsements, with Class BCE or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of continuous professional driving experience, preferably in a corporate or institutional environment.
• Proven experience driving executive/VIP vehicles, pickups, vans, and buses.
• A valid Public Service Vehicle (PSV) Certificate.
• A clean driving record, with no history of major traffic offences.
• Good knowledge of vehicle mechanical operations, with the ability to identify, troubleshoot, and report minor mechanical faults.
• A valid Certificate of Good Conduct issued by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).
• Defensive Driving Certification and First Aid training will be an added advantage.

KEY COMPETENCIES

• Excellent driving and road safety skills
• Strong knowledge of Kenyan roads and traffic regulations
• Vehicle care and basic mechanical knowledge
• Professionalism and discretion, particularly when handling VIP passengers
• Reliability, punctuality, and good time management
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in challenging road conditions
