Position Overview

We are seeking highly skilled, disciplined, and safety-driven Senior Heavy Equipment Operators to join our operations team. This role is critical to the successful execution of large-scale construction and infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate advanced technical expertise in operating a diverse fleet of heavy machinery, combined with a strong commitment to safety, precision, and operational excellence. Core Responsibilities

1. Advanced Equipment Operation

  • Safely and efficiently operate a fleet of heavy machinery, including:
  • Sinotruk Tippers for bulk material hauling
  • Backhoes for excavation, trenching, and loading operations
  • Motor Graders for precision grading and road construction
  • Roller Compactors for soil stabilization and subgrade compaction
  • Tractor-Pulled Gyro Mowers for vegetation management and site clearance
  • Execute tasks with high precision, ensuring adherence to engineering specifications and project standards.
  • Optimize machine utilization to enhance productivity and reduce downtime.

2. Preventive Maintenance & Equipment Care

  • Perform comprehensive daily pre-start inspections and post-operation checks.
  • Detect early signs of mechanical or operational faults and report promptly.
  • Conduct basic maintenance and collaborate with technical teams on advanced repairs.
  • Maintain detailed equipment logs, service records, and usage reports.
  • Ensure all machinery is maintained in optimal working condition and handled with care to extend asset lifespan.

3. Safety, Compliance & Risk Management

  • Uphold the highest standards of occupational health and safety (OHS) in line with company policies and best international practices.
  • Consistently use and enforce proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Conduct risk assessments before and during operations to mitigate hazards.
  • Maintain situational awareness in dynamic site environments, ensuring the safety of personnel, equipment, and materials.
  • Support site safety audits, toolbox talks, and incident prevention initiatives.

4. Operational Excellence & Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with site supervisors, engineers, and logistics teams to meet project milestones.
  • Support material handling, loading/unloading coordination, and workflow optimization.
  • Mentor junior operators where required, promoting skill development and safe work practices.
  • Maintain clear and professional communication with all stakeholders on-site.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 3–5 years’ proven experience operating multiple types of heavy construction equipment.
  • Valid and up-to-date operator certification/licenses for relevant machinery.
  • Strong working knowledge of construction site operations and equipment safety standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret basic site plans and operational instructions.
  • Physically fit, resilient, and capable of working in demanding outdoor conditions.

Preferred / Added Advantages

  • Experience in medium to large-scale infrastructure or road construction projects.
  • Additional certifications in occupational safety, defensive driving, or equipment diagnostics.
  • Exposure to fleet management systems or digital equipment monitoring tools.
  • Military, industrial, or high-discipline operational background is an added advantage.
  • Ability to operate more than one equipment/machinery
