About the Role A leading multinational is seeking a Financial Controller to oversee financial accounting, statutory reporting, and risk management. As a key member of the Finance Leadership Team, you will ensure balance sheet and P&L integrity, strengthen governance, and act as the financial conscience of the business. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to drive financial fitness across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end financial accounting and statutory reporting, ensuring compliance with IFRS and local regulations
- Own and drive balance sheet and P&L integrity, proactively resolving variances
- Strengthen internal controls and governance frameworks
- Lead enterprise risk management and advise leadership on risk-informed decisions
- Partner with business teams to drive performance and profitability
- Oversee finance operations including AR, GL, reporting, expenses, and asset management
- Manage cash flow, treasury, and working capital optimisation
- Drive cost discipline and budget management
- Ensure excellence in audits, tax compliance, and regulatory submissions
- Lead transformation projects and process improvements
- Coach and develop finance teams to sustain high performance
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, CA or equivalent) required
- MBA or Master’s degree in Finance/Business is an advantage
- 10+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience with senior leadership exposure
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, statutory reporting, and audit management
- Experience in internal controls, risk management, treasury, and governance
- Proven track record in financial control within a multinational/matrix environment
