Job Description

Location: Nairobi Salary: KSh 120,000 per month

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Engineer to provide technical support, maintain business applications and IT infrastructure, and ensure the availability and reliability of systems across the organization. The role involves application administration, network installations, server support, incident management, and routine reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage user access across business applications and servers.
• Provide support and maintenance for core applications (e.g., weighbridge systems, KRA control units).
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot network infrastructure (routers, switches, cabling).
• Perform server maintenance and monitor infrastructure performance.
• Support CCTV and weighbridge systems.
• Assist with network administration, problem resolution, and infrastructure projects.
• Monitor and configure printers using MyQ.
• Log, track, and resolve incidents via ServiceNow.
• Prepare monthly reports and maintain documentation for systems and processes.
• Participate in IT upgrades, migrations, and new technology deployments.

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.

• Professional certifications such as CCNA, MCSE, or equivalent are an added advantage.
• 3–5 years’ experience in IT support, infrastructure management, or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of networking, server administration, and application support.
• Experience with ERP systems and IT service management tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
• Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware/software issues and implementing solutions.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
